All regions of Ukraine have started sowing spring crops. Ukrainian agrarians are already sowing sunflower, soybeans and sugar beets, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy reported on Friday, UNN reports.

"All regions of Ukraine have started sowing spring crops. We have sown 476.7 thou hectares of grains and legumes. Of these, 68.3 thousand hectares of wheat, 291.5 thousand hectares of barley, 81.8 thousand hectares of peas and 28.7 thousand hectares of oats," the Ministry said.
As indicated, farmers in the following regions sowed the most grains and legumes:
- In Odesa region, 7 thousand hectares of wheat, 41.5 thousand hectares of barley, 28.4 thousand hectares of peas and 1.5 thousand hectares of oats were sown.
- In Ternopil region - 14.4 thousand hectares of wheat, 32.2 thousand hectares of barley, 3.1 thousand hectares of peas and 1.1 thousand hectares of oats.
- In the Poltava region, the company harvests 6.4 thou hectares of wheat, 56.2 thou hectares of barley, 4.7 thou hectares of peas and 2.3 thou hectares of oats.
- In the Khmelnytsky region, the company has 7.2 thou hectares of wheat, 23.7 thou hectares of barley, 0.8 thou hectares of peas and 0.5 thou hectares of oats.
- In the Vinnytsia region, the company harvests 5.9 thou hectares of wheat, 27.1 thou hectares of barley, 4.4 thou hectares of peas and 0.2 thou hectares of oats.
- In the Mykolaiv region, the company has 2.2 thou hectares of wheat, 33.4 thou hectares of barley, 17.6 thou hectares of peas and 0.5 thou hectares of oats.
Over the past week, Ukrainian agrarians sowed grains and legumes on 262.2 thousand hectares. Poltava region is in the lead, with 44.2 thou hectares planted.
Poltava region is also the leader in sugar beet planting, with 10.2 thou hectares already sown. Agrarians in Vinnytsia, Volyn and Rivne regions have also started sowing this crop.
Agrarians in Kyiv region started sowing sunflower, and those in Vinnytsia region started sowing soybeans.
