Defense forces repel 11 attacks in Krynok area on Kherson region's left bank

On the left bank of the Kherson region, Ukrainian troops repelled 11 attacks by Russian troops in the direction of the bridgehead near Krynky and 4 attacks in the Orikhiv direction.

In the operational zone of the Southern Defense Forces, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 11 attacks  by Russian troops in the temporarily occupied Kherson region and 4 in the Orikhiv direction. The Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine reported this on Friday in Telegram, UNN reports

Details 

Reportedly, daily counter-battery fighting and repulsing enemy assaults continue in the operational area of the Southern Defense Forces. The enemy does not abandon its intentions to drive the units of the Defense Forces from their positions.

 On the left bank of the Dnipro River, in the temporarily occupied Kherson region, the enemy made 11 assaults in the direction of the bridgehead near Krynky. Having suffered losses, he retreated to his original positions

- the statement said.

It is also reported that in the Orikhiv sector, the occupants carried out 4 assaults, 3 of which were in the area of Staromayorske and 1 in the area of Robotyno. They were unsuccessful, the Southern Defense Forces emphasized. 

Ukrainian soldiers continue to take comprehensive measures to hold and strengthen their positions. The occupants are putting pressure with artillery shelling, using a large number of attack drones of various types, and do not stop aerial reconnaissance. 

Over the past day, 108 reconnaissance drones flew over the operational area.

 During the combat day, the occupiers carried out 9 air strikes in the Orikhivsk direction using 8 guided aerial bombs and more than 60 unguided aerial missiles.

One air strike was conducted in the Kherson sector with the use of about a dozen unguided missiles.
