Russian troops shelled the border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions 45 times yesterday, including from an airplane, damaging civilian infrastructure and wounding 2 civilians, the "North" operational command reported on Monday, UNN reports.

"Russian invaders continue to shell the border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy regions. In total, 45 attacks (223 explosions) from various types of weapons were counted during the day," the "North" JC reported on Facebook.
Hostile attacks recorded in Chernihiv region
- in Semenivska community - allegedly from 120-mm mortars;
- in Snovska community - , allegedly from 120-mm mortars and 82-mm mortars;
- in Novhorod-Siverska community - probably an aerial attack from an airplane and 120-mm mortars.
In Sumy region, it was recorded yesterday:
- in , Sumy district, hostile attacks, allegedly from MLRS, 120-mm mortars, cannon artillery, a tank, UAV drops of explosives, UAV IEDs, UAVs, and UAV drones. In particular, in Myropillia, 2 civilians were injured and civilian infrastructure was damaged as a result of the shelling. A private house was damaged in Bilopillia, a private house and a power line were damaged in Vorozhba;
- in Okhtyrka district, hostile attacks with allegedly 120-mm mortars, cannon artillery, and the dropping of explosive ordnance from a UAV;
- in Konotop district , hostile attacks were registered with allegedly 120-mm mortars;
- in Shostka district hostile attacks were registered with allegedly 120-mm mortars, 82-mm mortars and cannon artillery. In Seredyna Buda, 2 private houses and a power line were damaged as a result of shelling.
