German drone manufacturer Quantum-Systems is opening another plant in Ukraine with a capacity of up to 1,000 UAVs per year, investing up to €6 million and employing about 100 people.

German drone manufacturer Quantum-Systems is opening another plant in Ukraine with a capacity of up to 1000 UAVs per year. This was reported by the company's press service, UNN reports. 

Details 

Vice Chancellor and Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of Germany Robert Habeck opened a new production facility of Quantum-Systems GmbH in Ukraine. The plant was inaugurated on April 18 in the presence of Minister of Strategic Industry of Ukraine Oleksandr Kamyshyn

The new plant will be the company's second facility in Ukraine and is expected to employ around 100 people by the end of the year. Quantum Systems will invest up to six million euros over the next two years. 

The new plant is expected to increase production capacity to 1,000 drones per year, including the production of spare parts.

According to Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, in 2024 the production of drones with a long range of more than 1000 km in Ukraine increased tenfold compared to the previous year.
