The SBU's modernized Sea Baby maritime drone can deliver almost a ton of explosives over a distance of more than 1,000 kilometers, allowing it to hit targets anywhere in the Black Sea and potentially counter entire enemy fleets.

The SBU's naval drones have radically changed the concept of naval operations, and in the future they will be able to confront entire enemy fleets that will be powerless in the face of this new technological weapon. This was stated in an interview with the YouTube channel "Blood Revenge" by an SBU military counterintelligence officer with the pseudonym "General of Blood Revenge", who operated one of the Sea Baby maritime drones that hit the Crimean bridge in 2023, UNN reports.

"SBU maritime drones have already radically changed the concept of naval operations, and in the future they will be able to confront entire enemy fleets that will be powerless in the face of this new technological weapon. An army of maritime drones can effectively fight entire enemy fleets that cost billions of dollars and employ entire concerns. With a hundred or two of these marine drones with the ability to individually adapt them to modern warfare scenarios, the enemy fleet can simply be closed in enemy bays," said the SBU special forces officer.

He added that under such circumstances, the enemy fleet would become a burden rather than a useful tool in achieving military goals, because it simply would not be able to move anywhere.

The SBU official also shared technical details of the newly introduced new generation of SBU drones. This version of the Sea Baby has improved aquadynamic and technological characteristics.

"The drone can travel over 1,000 kilometers carrying more than 1 ton of payload. Due to this, Sea Baby is a multifunctional platform with the ability to install various weapons modules to destroy enemy targets, not just a kamikaze drone," the SBU special forces officer emphasized.

According to him, in the future, maritime drones will be used on all continents in the water, and in modern wars, the one who uses intelligence and innovation to create modern technological weapons will have an advantage, not the army with more manpower.
