The Vehicle Registry checks cars against databases and other registries before selling them. It quickly rejects a car if it is wanted, stolen, arrested, or if it is being sold by a person who is wanted or with forged documents
According to him, in three months of operation, Diya has not allowed him to sell:
- two stolen cars;
- 241 seized cars;
- 19 cars that are wanted.
In addition, Diia did not allow 510 cars to be re-registered because the owner or buyer was wanted by the National Police.
