Russia accused Ukraine of involvement in the attack on the Crocus City concert hall, which the White House dismissed as "nonsense," saying that the Islamic State was solely responsible and that the United States had warned Russia in advance of the extremist attack.
The White House has called Russia's accusations of Ukraine's involvement in the attack on the Crocus City concert hall "nonsense," UNN reports citing Sky news.
A representative of the US National Security Council John Kirby said it was clear that the Islamic State was "solely responsible.
He added that the U.S. had given Russian security services a written warning of the extremist attack, one of many provided in advance to Moscow.

Today, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation announced the detention of another suspect in the case of the terrorist attack in the Crocus, and that the attackers allegedly received money from Ukraine.
At the same time, no evidence of a "Ukrainian trace" in the terrorist attack was presented in the Russian Federation.

On March 23, the Russian Federal Security Service announced the detention of 11 people as part of a criminal investigation into the terrorist attack. Four of them, according to the investigation, are direct perpetrators of the crime, and three others are accused of helping the terrorists with an apartment and a car. No information has been provided about the others.
