On the first day of the European Men's Gymnastics Championships in Rimini, Italy, Ukrainian gymnasts showed impressive results.
Oleg Verniaiev, a well-known Ukrainian gymnast, won a silver medal in the all-around with 84.031 points. This is Verniaiev's 13th medal at the European Championships. The gold medal was won by Cypriot gymnast Marios Georgiou (84.265), and the bronze medal by Italian Yumin Abbadini (83.765).

The Ukrainian team also showed impressive results, taking first place in the team qualification with a score of 253.661 points.
In addition, Ukrainian gymnasts have secured places in the individual finals to be held on April 26 and 27. Oleg Verniaiev will compete on the pommel horse, Ilya Kovtun on the parallel bars and high bar, Nazar Chepurny on the vault and parallel bars, and Ihor Radivilov on the floor exercise.
