Due to an electricity shortage caused by damage from Russian missile attacks, Ukraine has been forced to seek emergency assistance from European countries for the second day in a row, introducing electricity restriction schedules for businesses and industry from 18:00 to 22:00.

Due to the deficit in the power system, Ukraine has been attracting emergency assistance from international partners for the second day in a row. This was stated by Ukrenergo, UNN reports.

Details

Due to the deficit from 18:00 to 22:00, power limitation schedules will be applied to business and industry.

Consumption

This morning at 08:50, consumption is 1.3% lower than yesterday at the same time.

Yesterday, April 22, the evening maximum was 2.6% higher than the maximum of the previous working day on April 19

- Ukrenergo said.

It is noted that the maximum consumption occurred at 20:30-21:30. Power engineers ask Ukrainians to turn off powerful electrical appliances during this period.

RestrictionsRestrictions

In addition, in Kryvyi Rih, consumption restrictions for industrial consumers continue to be in effect around the clock. Also, restrictions for  household consumers are in effect throughout the day in Kharkiv region. As of this morning, about 209 thousand household consumers are without power.
